Verier offers an API into Royal Mail's Special Delivery and Recorded Item network. Allowing you not only to retrieve up-to-the-minute tracking information, but also to download the proof of delivery signature where available. This API can then be integrated into your existing systems to provide customers up-to-the-minute tracking information without having to leave your website or used by your back-end systems to monitor the status of your customer's delivery.

Technical Details

You can use Verier's Track & Trace API through either a .NET assembly or a SOAP XML web-service which allows you to get detailed status information for Royal Mail Special Delivery and Recorded Items.

Our API takes a Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery tracking number, and returns three items:

• Status of the delivery - e.g. Delivered, On It's Way, Returning To Sender, etc..
• Detailed Status - e.g. the date it was delivered, or which sorting office currently has the parcel
• Proof of Delivery - Native .NET Image which can be saved to any format , e.g. PNG / JPEG / GIF
